Duque travels across the Peninsula, accompanying an American photographer in search of traces—both in the landscape and in the people—of something elusive, perhaps lost. The film unfolds like a field notebook, though its pages are undated and deliberately disjointed. Fragmented, whimsical, ironic, and at times surreal, it becomes a road movie adrift in its own uncertainty, propelled less by destination than by a fascination with what might appear along the way.
